Mental Health advocate. licensed Therapist. content creator. writer.
My name is Brittney Cobb and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing at a Primary Care office in North Carolina. I have an undergraduate degree from Saint Augustine's College (now Saint Augustine’s University) & Masters in Social Work from North Carolina State University. I became a Therapist because of my passion for helping people.
I believe in Therapy because it is life changing.
As a patient, Therapy gave me the tools to create healthy relationships, be assertive, set boundaries & has helped me manage my own anxiety. As a Therapist, I create safe spaces for people as they confront emotional pain & trauma. Everyday I see the power of how simply listening without judgment helps individuals feel heard & seen. Therapy works when people feel safe, supported and are given the tools to create a life they want to live. Therapy can work for you.
Be Well is a platform I created to promote mental wellness while providing education & fighting the stigma associated with Therapy and Mental Health in the black community.
Outside of being a Therapist I love traveling, adventure, trying new things and spending time with my family and close friends.
I am currently not providing Therapy through this platform.
I only offer consultations and content.
Please check out my "Mental Health Resources" tab for additional information around Therapy. Check out my "Services" tab for more information about services offered.
